A brief biography of a highly revered Tibetan Lama who was one of the first to return to Tibet to rebuild monasteries destroyed during China's Communist and Cultural Revolutions. He also founded Taiwan's first Monastery of Tibetan Buddhism and Green Tara incorporated.

His Eminence Ngawang Migyur Rinpoche founded Green Tara incorporated in 1992 to develop sensitive sites more beneficially, create meritorious employment opportunities for local Dharma students and practitioners and help finance the reconstruction of Tibetan Monasteries destroyed during China's Communist and Cultural Revolutions.

Greenway

 

GTi's first site design and development project, a 28 unit affordable townhouse community and forested wetlands preservation, which became Snohomish County's first Low Impact Development or LID .

Greenness

 

GTi's second site design and development project, a five lot privately shared residential park in north Edmonds with unobstructed high bluff views of northern Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula.

International Architecture Award


GTi and cofounder Phillip Lehn were awarded Architecture Podium's third award in the Cultural (Concept) catagory of their International Architecture Awards 2018 for their design of Tara Memorial Park at Greenness.
